It’s a full weekend of high-level workouts, seminars taught by instructors from all over the country, and an incredible atmosphere shared with black belts from across the nation.
This isn’t just another training weekend. It’s the kind of experience that reminds you why you fell in love with Taekwondo in the first place.
What Is the Master Experience?
The Master Experience is an annual event open exclusively to Taekwondo America black belts.
Over the course of the weekend, you’ll train alongside black belts from schools across the country, learn from some of the best instructors in the organization, and be part of something that goes well beyond what happens in a regular class.
Between the workouts, seminars, and special events, there’s plenty of time to relax, connect, and enjoy everything that beautiful Norfolk, Virginia has to offer.

Thursday is school owners day, with check-in, meetings, and classes to kick things off.

⏰ 6:45pm — 8:00pm — Meet and Greet
Friday, June 26 — Black Belt Arrival Day
Friday is when the full event opens up for black belts.
Check-in runs through the morning so you have plenty of time to get settled before the action starts.

Saturday, June 27
Saturday is the biggest day of the weekend.
Tournament of Champions, seminars, a special form session, CPR certification, and Casino Night to cap it all off.

The final morning wraps up with more seminars before the closing ceremonies bring the weekend to an end.

CPR Certification
If you plan to attend the CPR Certification session on Saturday, you must complete the required web class before arriving at the event. Make sure you take care of that ahead of time so you don’t miss out.
